Teacher tells student he can be arrested for criticizing Obama, Romney fair game

(Daily Mail)–A teacher told a student in her classroom that he could be arrested for saying something bad about Barack Obama. The social studies teacher at North Rowan High School in Spencer, North Carolina told the student he could go to jail for speaking negatively about the President – but that it was fine to criticise Mitt Romney. Video captured the intense debate between the two as the teacher demanded that Mr Obama be respected, while the student insisted he had a right to share his own opinions. On the video, the teacher can be heard discussing with students a recent report that Mr Romney, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, had bullied someone as a youngster. The 10-minute video uploaded to YouTube last Monday appears to be taken from a cell phone where only voices can be heard and it does not show anyone inside the classroom. As the teacher explains the Romney allegations, the student asks: ‘Didn’t Obama bully somebody, though?’ The teacher responds that she was not aware of Mr Obama being a bully. She begins to raise her voice telling the student not to make ‘degrading’ comments. The student tries to reply: ‘If you’re going to talk [about] Romney…’ But he is interrupted by the teacher, who starts shouting. ‘Uh-uh! Stop! Stop! No! Because there’s no comparison. He [Mr Romney] is running for President. Obama is the President.’ The student, not satisfied with that answer, went on to say: ‘If you’re going to talk trash about one side, you gotta talk trash about the other.’ However, the teacher disagreed. She said, ‘Let me tell you this: you’ve got to realize this man is wanting to be what Obama already is, OK?’ She continues, screaming: ‘That’s disrespect! That’s disrespect!’ The student contends that the teacher is the one being disrespectful – to Mr Romney. This infuriated the teacher. She insists that the student follow her rule. The teacher cried out: ‘You will not disrespect the President of the United States!’ The student retorted: ‘I’ll say what I want.’ She angrily counters: ‘Not about him you won’t.’ As the exchange went on, the student told the teacher that he had different beliefs than her and when he asked a question about Mr Obama and bullying, the teacher got ‘defensive’ and ‘freaked out.’

 

I know EXACTLY how this kid feels.  Like exactly.  I mean I spent the better part of a year criticizing Romney for being a square white bread dude who doesn’t believe in anything and I never heard a peep out of anyone.  The second I call Obama gay for dating a dude in College Vanity Fair has their legal team send me an email saying I was going to jail unless I took the picture down.  It’s a complete double standard.  You can’t touch Obama.

Seriously though this video is a disturbing.  If I were this kid I would NEVER go to this class again.  Not because of the political issues, but because this teacher is just soooooo stupid.  Slander? People getting arrested for criticizing the President? This crazy broad is a social studies teacher…really? She has to be the dumbest person in that room yet she is responsible for educating our youth and molding young minds.  No wonder America is falling behind.  I think this teacher should be fired immediately and so should the person that hired her.

PS: I love how every politician always says they are going to do all this shit on “day 1”.  If Romney gets elected I would love it if his inauguration speech was like “Sup America?  Thanks for voting.  I’d love to sit and chat, but I’ve got shit to do“.  Then just drop the microphone and walk off stage.  That’d be the biggest boss move ever.  Just set the tone for the entire presidency.

Obama wins West Virginia Primary by a landslide. 60% to 40% vs a guy currently in prison

(Newser)–A felon serving time in a Texas prison has managed to give President Obama a run for his money in West Virginia’s Democratic primary. Keith Judd, who is serving a federal sentence for extortion, took 40% of the vote to Obama’s 60%, the highest result of any Democratic challenger in the primaries so far, reports Politico. The result may get Judd four delegates to the Democratic National Convention, although officials say it’s not clear whether he has filed the necessary paperwork. Judd—who filed to run in 14 states in 2008 but only made it onto the ballot in Idaho—was able to get on the West Virginia ballot by paying a $2,500 fee and filing a form known as notarized certification of announcement, state officials say. West Virginia has never been Obama country—he lost every county to Hillary Clinton in 2008—but the Judd vote shows just how unpopular the president is in some areas, the AP notes. Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin and Sen. Joe Manchin, both Democrats, have refused to say whether they’ll vote for him in November

Is Keith Judd the greatest political athlete of all time?  I mean taking 40% of the vote in a primary against a sitting president is nothing to sneeze at.  When you consider the fact that Keith Judd is running his entire campaign out of his Texas jail cell it’s even more impressive. If West Virginia is any indication about how the rest of the nation will vote then Obama could actually be in trouble against Mitt Romney. Maybe Romney should make Judd his VP.  Judd is serving time for extortion(perfect background to be an elected official) so you know he can raise money. He is from the South, he is a registered democrat so it would show Mitt’s willingness to reach across the aisle, and has an obvious ability to make a connection to the people.  America is a nation of second chances.  Romney-Judd 2012.

Mitt Romney is BAD TO THE BONE. Arrested in 1981 for disorderly conduct

(BuzzFeed)–It’s a little reported anecdote, but in 1981 presumptive Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney was arrested for disorderly conduct. The issue of Romney’s arrest first came to light during his 1994 Senate run against incumbent Senator Ted Kennedy, appearing at an unfortunate time while Romney was running ads talking to police officers with sirens in the background, promising to be tough on crime According to what Romney told the Boston Globe in 1994, he had taken his family off to Wayland, Mass.’s Lake Cochituate, about an hour outside Boston, for a summer excursion. As Romney prepared to put his family boat into the water, a park officer told Romney not to launch because his license appeared to have been painted over. The officer told Romney if he put his boat into the water he would face a $50 fine. Romney felt that his license was still visible and decided to ignore the order from the officer and pay the fine. “I figured I was at the state park with my kids. My five kids were in the car wondering why we weren’t going out in the boat, so I said I’d launch and pay the fine,” Romney said in 1994. Romney said the officer didn’t tell him not to launch his boat, just that he would face a fine for doing so. “I was willing to pay the fine. But if he had said don’t launch the boat and not mentioned the fine, I would not have done it,” Romney said. After Romney put the family boat into the water, the officer reappeared visibly angry and arrested Romney for disorderly conduct. Romney was handcuffed on the scene, taken to the local police station, and booked. “There I was, dripping wet in a bathing suit,” Romney told the Globe. A magistrate let him go without bail. Several days later, Romney appeared in Natick District Court and threatened to sue the arresting office for a false arrest. The charges were dropped and sealed at Romney’s request.

And all this time I thought Mitt Romney was just a square.  Turns out he is a certified bad ass.  Stubborn as hell and willingly taking $50 fines like it ain’t no thang.  The fuzz was trying to harsh on his good time.  Mitt just wasn’t having it. He’s going on his boat and is NOT going to be made to look like a bitch by some Statie.  Eff that noise.  Alright Romney, I am on board.  I thought America needed a tough guy to make hard decisions…meanwhile Mitt was staring me right in the face.  ROMNEY 2012!!!

GOD DAMN OBAMA!!! This guy just can’t be touched.  For the first time in history an ex-girlfriend coming out of the woodwork in an election year is a good thing.  Just bringing sexual warmth, being aloof, and keeping this broad guessing and wanting more like you read about.  Obama is the smoothest cat in the game.  Like him or lump him, but you can’t deny that Obama is the best political athlete of all time.  Doesn’t hurt that the media does all his blocking and tackling, but Obama’s swag can’t be touched.  Romney is dead.

Mrs Romney thinks she is broke as hell

 

So it looks like the only person that knows less about connecting with the people than Mitt Romney is his wife Ann.  To say that you aren’t wealthy or don’t consider yourself wealthy is disingenuous because Ann…YOU’RE EFFING LOADED.  More money than Brigham Young and Joseph Smith.  Here is what really pisses me off about this clip though.  Ann Romney obviously feels that being wealthy is a negative thing during campaign season.  That’s disgusting.  When did being successful and earning money become a scarlet letter?  Quite honestly…I want my leaders to be rich as hell.  For one…generally it shows that they have been successful.  They worked hard and did things in life to earn great wealth.  That’s an admirable trait.  Secondly…politics is a filthy profession.  I think that if elected officials already have money, they are less likely to be bought by corrupt lobbyists.  So Mrs. Romney…next time someone asks you if you’re wealthy…make it rain on air.  Just dolla dolla bills all over the TV screen.

Willard Mitt Romney has no chance in November.  No matter how much Romney wants to talk about stuff like the 15 Trillion dollar debt, a shitty economy, China, and American principles, the Presidential election is still a popularity contest and its impossible to beat the cool kid in a popularity contest.  Obama’s voice sounds like peanut butter on velvet. Smooth on top of smooth.  Romney sounds like Screech Powers(and not the Screech who sang in the glee club or for “Zack Attack”).  This election is all but wrapped up.  Might as well vote for Newt so at least everyone can see Obama get embarrassed in the debates.  I mean, just look how cool Newt used to be…

 

Yeah…it doesn’t matter.  Obama swag for the win.

Vlad Putin is one smooth son of a bitch

(Business Insider)–Given the smoke and mirrors that seem to be de  rigueur in Russian politics (not to mention the sincere Russian love of  conspiracy theories), it was inevitable that someone would look deeper at  Mikhail Prokhorov’s election bid and find something fishy about it. Talking  to Gazeta.ru, Stanislav Belkovsky, a political analyst and associate of  Boris Berezovsky, argues that Prokhorov’s intentions are not to beat Vladimir  Putin in next year’s presidential elections, but to placate Russia’s angry  middle classes by giving the impression of choice, and to then take Dimitry  Medvedev’s place as Prime Minister of the country.

Kudrin, who left the Russian government  in acrimony this summer, is seen as close to Putin and had been considered a  possible Prime Minister himself until some kind of internal  power struggle forced him out.

I mean this is just down right diabolical.  Putin works in political corruption like Picaso worked in oils.  When his term limits were up, he simply just created a new position higher than President.  Then said “meh, fuck it…I think I will just be president again…without an election”.  Now some people in Russia are a little bit salty…so what does old slick Vladdy do…oh just get a billionaire oil tycoon to fake run for president.  Let people think they have a choice, then just stay President because all Prokhorov cares about is getting Dwight Howard to the Nets.  Prokhorov has like no political experience.  This could never happen in America.  Can you imagine if Obama had it set up so he could campaign against some guy who had no political experience, or maybe somebody that divorved his wife while she was dying of cancer, or a guy who openly hates gays, or a guy who …I mean Obama would be thrilled.  Instead he is going to have a real battle on his hands against….well…shit. Obama swag for the win.

 

PS: All joking aside…the Republican field for president is pathetic.  There is one really good candidate that NOBODY is paying attention to…John Huntsman.  Just a dream resume.  No candidate is perfect, but this guy is easily the best of the bunch.  Oh and…he has hot daughters(Especially Abby)…just saying.
