Hey WTF Minnesota?

(SunTimes)–Because of elevated levels of fine particulate matter as a result of smoke in the area from the wildfire in Minnesota, the Partners for Clean Air and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency have issued an Air Pollution Action Day alert for the Chicago Metropolitan area for Wednesday. The impacted area includes Cook, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kendall, Lake, McHenry and Will counties in Illinois, according to a release from the two groups. This is the fifth Air Pollution Action Day for 2011. Current conditions that have resulted from the wildfire are expected to continue throughout Wednesday, the release said. Additional days may be called should conditions warrant. Elevated levels of fine particulate matter pose health risks to sensitive populations, especially individuals with respiratory or pulmonary disorders as well as active children and adults, according to the release. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has issued suggested tips to protect individuals and families from health effects of smoke from the wildfire.

Hey Minnesota, we didn’t ban cigarettes in every public place in Illinois just to have you jackasses blow second-hand forest fire smoke in our face.  I mean your smoke is everywhere.  Where are all the smokers supposed to go that can’t smoke inside?  Really inconsiderate Minnesota.  All Minnesota has going for it is outdoorsy stuff and they can’t even get that right.  I know you guys are probably frustrated that as the self-proclaimed “State of Hockey”, Minnesota still has a dog shit NHL team with no future. However, being jealous doesn’t give you the right to try and give the Blackhawks asthma during training camp.  Sharp is sick enough as it is.
