Name a movie where women are protrayed in a positive way: “Pretty Woman”– Miss Ohio

(HuffPo)–What movie comes to mind when thinking of films that portray women in a positive way? Would it perhaps be “Pretty Woman”? That was the unexpected answer from Miss Ohio Audrey Bolte on the “2012 Miss USA Pageant”. She was inspired that Julia Roberts’ prostitute character “came out on top and she didn’t let anybody stay in her path.” Miss Ohio didn’t come out on top to win the competition; that honor went to Olivia Culpo, a 20-year-old cellist from Rhode Island. She will go on to represent the United States in the Miss Universe pageant.

Miss Ohio just doing her best to let young girls everywhere know that if they are pretty enough and slutty enough that maybe they too can find a rich man to take care of them for the rest of their lives.  Dream big girls, dream big.

I hate these pageants. There are a lot of beautiful women out there who are incredibly intelligent. Unfortunately, they usually are in that top 50 group.
