Congrats Pacers!!! 2012 NBA Champs…What?…oh nevermind that was just a game in January

“I will never forget how they celebrated from just winning this game.  I can’t wait to play them again.”–Derrick Rose

So in case you missed it, the Indiana Pacers won the 2012 NBA Championship last night.  First team to ever do so by just winning one game in January.  In all seriousness…what a joke the Indiana Pacers are.  Yeah they are off to a hot start, but they acted like the win last night not only clinched the NBA Championship, but also made up for the playoffs last season and the entire decade of the 1990s.  Nice to know that a mid-season win vs the Bulls can make a team’s season.  That’s how good the Bulls have become.  Other teams see them as a measuring stick.  So congrats to the Pacers, you beat the Bulls….who didn’t have Deng or Taj Gibson, and Derrick Rose is banged up, but still this win puts them firmly in second place in the division.  Next time(3/5/12) though you’re going to have to deal with a healthy Bulls squad and now a pissed off Derrick Rose.  Best of luck with that.

PS: I searched long and hard for a video of the Pacers celebrating like jackasses, but came up empty on that front.  I did happen to stumble upon this gem of a game breakdown.  This kid’s analysis is straight mad fire.  He almost got a fact correct at one point.  I think I found my Bulls blogger.
