Great white hope indeed. Hansen is my official pick to win the 2012 Kentucky Derby. Just look at that magnificent creature. So elegant so powerful and going off at 10-1. Hansen, so hot right now. Hansen.
But seriously Hansen is the pick. Great post at 14 and he is close to the other sprinters in the field. Trinniberg is going to set the pace out of the gates, but Hansen will be right there with him. Trinniberg has never gone longer than 7 furlongs so he will fade. That’ll leave Hansen out in front as the other 19 horses and battling each other for lanes on what could be a sloppy track. Hansen just has to hold out.
