David Stern still embarrassed by Oprah telling him when he can play the Eastern Conference Finals, is trying to get back at Chicago by fining the Bulls star center $50,000 for exercising his freedom of speech granted to him in the Bill of Rights.
I am not condoning hate speech, but I mean come on…$50k for calling a fan a slur? What kind of country are we living in that people get fined $50k for saying something in the heat of the moment. I bet that fan was calling Noah stuff like a billion times worse. This is just David Stern trying to show that he is still in charge even though everyone knows Oprah owns him. LEAVE JOAKIM NOAH ALONE. The guy apologized. I believe him. Does this really look like the face of a guy who hates gays?
